2025 saw a Yuri manga, The Guy She Liked Wasn’t A Guy At All win the Best Manga of the Year Award at the American Manga Awards.

Several new publishers have jumped into the Yuri ring. Manga Mavericks has forged ties with Yuri creators and Crossed Hearts just started a new Yuri imprint GLAM. Seven Seas and Baiheverse expanded our access to Baihe manhua, and of course Yen, Viz, and Tokyopop are still putting out a lot of Yuri. Comic Yuri Hime, the only monthly Yuri manga magazine in Japan turned 20, and Galette, the quarterly creator-owned and crowdfunded Yuri manga magazine will turn 10 with it’s next issue!

2026 is going to be a good year for Yuri, as well. Just keep supporting your favorite creators and we’ll see you in the new year!
