    If you have never seen the series, you should. If only because it was one of the most unique, genuinely surreal takes on typical magical girl tropes ever. This isn’t deconstruction of the magical girl genre – it represents a wholesale embracing of the most typical elements, with broad nods to its roots in earlier shoujo series.
