Shino is a high school student who lives with her late brother's wife. She and Nozomi get along famously, until Shino starts feeling less familial and more in love with Nozomi. Nozomi, a respectable elementary school teacher is also struggling with less-than-sisterly feelings for Shino. Kuzushiro's take on this popular Yuri trope is  both poignant and complicated.
